Peter Goddard

Managing Director

Peter is a founding partner of TRI and has more than 25 years’ experience in the hospitality and tourism industries. An ex-hotelier, he has held staff and managerial positions in several hotel properties in his native Australia.

In his role as the Managing Director, Peter oversees all consultancy assignments undertaken by TRI out of the Dubai office. His areas of specialization include operational reviews; valuations and due diligence; management and contract negotiations; investment analysis; and tourism development and master planning.

Such continuous exposure to, and study of, hotel, tourism and real estate industries has provided Peter with an extensive background and understanding of the feeder markets, demand generators and other key factors affecting future demand levels and characteristics, optimal market positioning for facilities and demand capture.

Yani Eftimov

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Yani joined TRI Consulting in 2018 and currently serves as Associate Director, specialising in hospitality, tourism and mixed-use development advisory across the Middle East and international markets. He graduated from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom, with a degree in International Tourism Management, receiving the Signet Prize for Best Final-Year Student.

Yani’s hospitality exposure dates back to his early career, having gained operational experience with internationally recognised hotel operators in Bulgaria. During his studies, he further strengthened his industry expertise through a fourteen-month placement as a Hospitality, Tourism and Real Estate Analyst at PKF The Consulting House in Dubai.

Over the course of his consultancy career, Yani has been involved in a wide range of highest and best use studies, market and financial feasibility assessments, and strategic advisory assignments, including several of the region’s most notable master-planned and mixed-use developments. His areas of expertise include tourism master planning reviews, concept development, hotel operator search, selection and negotiation projects, performance forecasting and other strategic advisory services.

Borja Fraile Andrade

SENIOR CONSULTANT

Borja joined TRI in 2023 as an Analyst after graduating from Les Roches Global Hospitality Education with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. During his studies, he was awarded an excellence scholarship and graduated as a member of the Eta Sigma Delta Honour Society. Prior to that, he attended University of Malaga, where he studied International Tourism Management, received multiple distinctions and was awarded a talent scholarship as a result.

Borja gained in-depth exposure to the hospitality and real estate industries through stints in the international luxury hospitality and construction sectors in Dubai and Spain.

Since joining TRI, he has worked on numerous highest and best use studies, market & financial feasibility studies, as well as operator search and selection assignments across all GCC countries; thus covering diverse asset classes and markets throughout the region.

Borja is fluent in English and Spanish and has conversational skills in both Swedish and French.

SHARATH VIJAYASHANKAR

Senior Analyst

Sharath joined the TRI team in 2023 as an Analyst subsequent to his successful completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Middlesex University Dubai. Throughout his academic journey, he achieved a First Class Honors Degree along with an outstanding scholarship. Additionally, he has also successfully cleared his ACCA certification in the realm of finance.

Sharath’s professional background includes valuable exposure to the hospitality and real estate industries. He gained significant experience by working with Roya International, a prominent management consultancy firm in the region, primarily focusing on the Food and Beverage sector.

Since joining TRI, Sharath has been involved in a range of highest and best use and feasibility studies across the Middle East. Sharath boasts fluency in English, Hindi, and Malayalam, enhancing our ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals.

HAMZA TAWA

FINANCIAL ANALYST

Hamza joined TRI in 2024 as a Financial Analyst. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Mumbai and a Master of Science in Corporate Finance from City University, London. Additionally, he has successfully cleared CFA Level 1.

His professional journey encompasses a diverse range of roles. In his most recent position at the Royal Group in Abu Dhabi, he performed valuations, analysed, and evaluated new investment opportunities across the Middle East and Europe, within the cycling and wellness sectors.

Previously, in M&A investment banking, he advised on deals in the consumer and renewables sectors and supported their capital raising processes.

Fluent in English and Hindi, he excels in communicating and collaborating with a wide array of stakeholders.

Kharen Villanueva

Administrative Assistant

Kharen joined TRI in 2016 and brings a wealth of experience in the real estate industry. Prior to joining TRI, she was an administrative and HR assistant for a large real estate firm where she was responsible for general office and human resource duties.

Before moving to Dubai in 2014, Kharen was an administration officer for the largest branch of Western Union in the Philippines where she developed her extensive administrative skills and knowledge.

Since joining TRI, Kharen has been involved in overall administrative functions in the company which includes providing support for the whole TRI Team. Kharen has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the Lyceum of the Philippines University.
